Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson’s father, has dropped his wrongful death suit against the doctor who was convicted of causing the singer’s death. No reason was given on why the case was dropped. This may simply be the latest development in an odd proceeding were the lawyers handling it were ruled ineligible to practice in California and one federal judge refused to hear it. The case had claimed the same things prosecutors had last year, that Jackson’s doctor lied to paramedics about giving Jackson propofol and kept inadequate medical records.
