Valentina Sayago

Valentina Sayago is a rising 2L at Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. She is part of the National Trial Team at Cumberland, as well as the secretary of the Hispanic Interest Law Student Association. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Alabama as a double major in Political Science and Spanish with a minor in Legal Studies. While at UNA, she was a member of the Mock Trials team and various honor societies. She was a summer law clerk for Legal Services of Alabama earlier this summer. During her time at LSA, she worked on various research projects, drafting closing letters for attorneys and uncontested divorces. She has previously interned with the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s office during her time at UNA. She is fluent in Spanish and a part-time interpreter for Foreign Language Services. She has interpreted for Department of Human Resources family services, food stamp interviews, medical appointments, and forensic interviews. Miss Sayago is really excited for the opportunity to intern with Hodges Trial Lawyers. Welcome Valentina!

Currently, our law firm is remaining open and working to serve your legal needs. We are, however, limiting in person meetings to comply with social distancing recommendations.

We are happy to arrange for phone or video consultations should you have any concerns about keeping your scheduled appointments with us. We are also able to exchange documents via secure drives or email. We will continue to diligently represent our clients, even if we have to do so remotely.
