Hodges Trial Lawyers, P.C. 2020 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

November 30, 2020

Hodges Trial Lawyers, P.C. is proud to announce that founder, Jeremiah M. Hodges, was selected to the 2020 Super Lawyers list and attorney Timothy M. McFalls was included in this year’s Alabama Rising Stars list. Super Lawyers highlights some of today’s most outstanding attorneys for the purpose of the average consumer who is looking for legal counsel. The exhaustive process to seek new entrants for both lists begins with a recommendation from the entrant’s peers and follows a multi-stage process that involves extensive research. The investigators make their selection based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. The group releases an annual list of attorneys throughout every state in the country.

Jeremiah M. Hodges

Jeremiah M. Hodges has been selected to Super Lawyers for the second consecutive year. He has been an attorney for almost 20 years and in that time, he has accumulated his fair share of experience and accolades from his peers. Much of his work focuses on personal injury cases, where he acts for the general plaintiff or in general litigation. He also works in family law as well. As someone who loves the jury trial process, Jeremiah entered a profession where he can channel that passion into helping those who have been harmed by negligence or the wrongful actions of fellow individuals, corporations, or insurance companies. Jeremiah considers some of his greatest accomplishments to be receiving positive results for his clients.

Jeremiah graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a member of the National ATLA Trial Team and the National Civil Trial Competition Team. Throughout his illustrious career, Jeremiah’s reputation has preceded him among his friends and colleagues as he has collected numerous awards and accolades. Some of his other acknowledgements include being named as one of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, America’s Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys, Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers, and Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers and the Society of Legal Advocates. He has also earned a 10.0 rating from AVVO and has been rated as AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jeremiah has also served as the chair of the Emerging Leaders for the Alabama Association for Justice, President of the Huntsville Young Lawyers, and Membership Chair of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association. In 2018, he became the youngest president of the Huntsville Madison County Bar Association. Throughout his professional and personal life, Jeremiah tries to give back to his community. He has served as President of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville, as well as his local library and Boys and Girls Club boards.

Timothy M. McFalls

Timothy M. McFalls has been selected to Rising Stars for the second consecutive year. He started his ambitious law career in 2009 when he joined Hodges Trial Lawyers, P.C. He also performs appellate work and serves on the Indigent Defense appointment list for criminal defendants.

Timothy has argued cases in both state and federal court, as well as District and Circuit Court. In addition, he has appeared before all three appellate courts in the State of Alabama. He has taken a particular interest in social security disabilities cases. He has participated in every aspect, from the initial application through the appeals process before the Appeals Council. His work in this area has led him to become an expert in that field as he has organized continuing legal education presentations of several topics related to social security disability and others.

Along with his work in social security disabilities, Timothy has also performed his share of pro bono work as a member of the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program, of which he remains an active participant.
