Jeremiah Hodges to Represent Widow in Civil Case Against Elkmont Murder Suspect

The victim was murdered near his home in March. Investigators from the Limestone County Sherriff’s Office have stated that the suspect is a neighbor who was involved in an ongoing property dispute with the neighbor. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for a four-count wrongful death claim.

As published in the News Courier of Athens and Limestone County, Jeremiah stated that the suspect held the widow at gunpoint during the ordeal and did not allow her to render aid. “She’s every bit as devastated as you would expect her to be,” noted Jeremiah.
