I was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and grew up in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama. I graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law, where I was a member of the National ATLA Trial Team and the National Civil Trial Competition Team. I also received the George Peach Taylor Award for Trial Advocacy and the American Judicature Society Award.
I have served as the Chair of the Emerging Leaders for the Alabama Association for Justice and President of the Huntsville Young Lawyers. In 2011 and 2012, I was honored to be chosen as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. I was also selected by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the top 40 lawyers in Alabama under 40. I was humbled to receive both of these distinctions.
I strongly believe in the jury system and have chosen a career where I get the opportunity to help those injured by the negligence and wrongful conduct of individuals, large corporations, and insurance companies. It is truly a privilege to get to represent people that need my help.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending most of my time with my family. I also enjoy playing golf and tennis. My favorite pastime is learning to play the guitar. I am on the council at my church and was recently asked to serve on the Foundation Board for the new Athens-Limestone County Library.
That tells you a little about me. Please feel free to view the videos on our website to learn more about how we might be able to help you with your personal injury matter. We are continuing to add content that we hope will help people that have been in a car wreck or suffered personal injury and may need a lawyer. If we can help you, we would love to hear from you.
